Plastics that are Hard to Recycle

Tucson's Hard-to-Recycle Plastics program, a partnership with Hefty® ReNew™ and ByFusion, complements the city’s recycling efforts by allowing residents to recycle plastics not accepted in the blue bins, transforming them into valuable resources.

Purchase Hefty® ReNew™ orange bags at Walmart, Fry's stores, and other participating retailers

Hefty partners with companies that produce: 

  • Composite lumber 

  • Concrete aggregate 

  • Roofing material
